The Difference Between CBD and THC
The answer to the question “what is the difference between THC and CBD” is easy to answer. Chemically, Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD) are very similar, but the brain reacts completely different to the two cannabinoids (closely related compounds). Both THC and CBD occur naturally in the Cannabis or marijuana plant.
- CBD is non-psychoactive. It is a cannabis compound that does not alter a persons state of mind or get them “high”. A person does not feel the effects of CBD, like they do THC.
- CBD has an amazing variety of health benefits. This is the main reason that CBD is such a popular addition to so many natural and organic products, such as High Tide cream.
